The most frequently used feed functions can be accomplished with a hand-held remote control.

1. Select Mode of Operation
   • Manual Mode - Feed rolls are controlled by pendant allowing forward and reverse jog.
   • Set-up mode - Similar to manual except the jog pendant will not allow material to move more that one progression.
   • Auto mode - Feed is electronically linked and cammed to the press and will feed in precise synchronization with the press.
2. Control Feed Roll State
   • Open - Rolls move to full open position and will remain until either the close or run button is pressed.
   • Close - Rolls close on the material, measure its thickness, and ultimately determine if the material is within the set tolerance.
   • Run - Rolls will close, however, if the press is cycled the rolls will release at the press angle specified by the roll release angle
3. Jog Control
   • Forward - Jog feed forward in manual mode.  This button is also used to incrementally jog the material through one feed length progression when operating in set-up mode.
   • Reverse - Jog feed reverse in manual mode.  In set-up mode, feed will reverse jog the material, within the current progression.
4. Drive On - Enables servo actuators for operation.
5. Reset Feed Error - Clears any immediate on-screen error message.
6. Emergency Stop - Allows feed operator to stop operation of the feed at any time.  When properly interconnected with the press, feed E-stop button will also E-stop the press.
